Gearheart, Dovie -age 89, wife of the late Raymond Gearheart, of Hueysville, passed away Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg following an extended illness. She was the born May 26, 1916 in Knott County the daughter of the late Wilson and Martha Patton Handshoe. She was a homemaker and attended the Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons: Glen Gayheart (Anna) of Shelby, Ohio, Douglas Gearheart (Dalia) of Willard, Ohio and Quintin Gearheart (Luci) of Martin; two daughters: Wanda Sue Jones (Clinton) of Prestonsburg, Deborah Howell (Darrell) of Hueyesville; a brother: Sammy Handshoe of Winchester, Ky., 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law: Anna Mae Gearheart. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son: Randall Gearheart, a daughter & son-in-law: Geneva and Harold Baldridge; 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Funeral services will be Monday, March 20, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home with Allen Chaffins officiating; visitation will be Saturday, March 18th at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville on Monday, March 20th at 1 p.m., under the direction of Nelson Frazier Funeral Home
