16 October 1791. Adam Geerhart, 100 acres in the name George Kincer on a treasury warrant 1782 on the head of the North Fork of Holston River adjoining Nicholas Darter, March 8, 1796. Nicolas Darter to Adam Gearhart 296 acres on head waters of North Fork Holston River..
16 November 1793. William King, assignee of William Pendleton, treasury warrant 1000 acres, 1781 40 acres part thereof in rich valley adjoining James Camron, Adam Geerhart, Nicholas Darter, Jacob Spangler and George Kinder.

• Tax List: Wythe County Tax List, 1794-1797, Wythe County, VA. 1794. Wythe County Tax List included the names of Adam Geerhart, John Geerheart, and Alvin Gerheart.
1797 Wythe County Tax List included Adam and Margaret Kerhart 290 acres on head waters of Holston.

• Court: Floyd County Court Book 1, 1808, Floyd County, KY. 28 November 1808. Adam Gearheart, Sr., appointed road surveyor from the ford by Henry Patton to the mouth of Stone Coal, to replace Henry Darter. Persons ordered to assist are John Damron, William Allen, George Allen, Adam Gearheart, Jr., Joseph Hale, Peter Hale & Zachariah Hale.

• Court: Floyd County Court Book I, 1812, Floyd County, KY. 27 May 1812. Adam Gearheart, Sr., appointed Constable on Beaver Creek. Bond set at $1,000.00. Securities: John Gearheart, Abraham Picklesimer, Ezekiel Morris, James Young, David Morris, William Allen, and Edward Osburn.

27 May 1812. George Allen appointed surveyor of the road from the ford above Lackey's to the mouth of Stone Cole (sic) to replace Adam Gearheart who had resigned.

24 August 1812. William Keeton, Jailor, resigns and John Spurlock appointed to his place, William J. Mayo, Adam Gearheart, Sr., Adam Gearheart, Jr., John Turman and James Young bondsmen in the amount of $1000.00.

• Deed: Deed Book A and B, 1814-1817, Floyd County, KY. The early deed records of Floyd County show that large sections of land on the Left and Right Forks of Beaver Creek, as well as on Beaver Creek proper and Mud Creek, were owned by a David Morgan, who sold off tracts of varying size constituting an extended neighborhoods of sorts. The following are all of the deeds for land on the Left and Right Forks of Beaver Creek included in Deed Book A (1808-1818) with a few from Deed Book B.
