Edward DODD

  Noted events in his life were:

• Biography. Edward Dodd Son of William and Catherine Dodd Edward Dodd was born in Pennsylvania in about 1733 and was brought to Virginia by his father in 1742. He was re ceived into the Fairfax Monthly Meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia before 1753. He was granted a certificate to Hope well Monthly Meeting so he could marry a young woman of that meeting. Edward's wife was Mary, and they had at least three children, Rachel, Albenah and Mary. Albenah Dodd married Abraham Thornbrugh on January 10, 1776 at the Hopewell Monthly Meeting.⁴
