Roads receiving benefit of this fund in 1820 was one from Lebanon to Hamilton, $75.00, by Jonathan Tullis, Commissioner." • Legal: probate of estate, 1831. Jonathan died intestate circa 1831, but the court ordered probate of his estate on June 4, 1831, listing his heirs as follows: Ezra, Harvey, Jonathan Jr, and John W., sons; Peter Sewell (widower of a deceased daughter), and Solomon Weston (not identified, but perhaps a second son-in-law). • Cemetery: Red Lion (probably). Jonathan is probably buried in Red Lion Cemetery with wife, Nancy, but no stones for either can now be located. ("Descendants of Moses Tullis, Sr, and Thomas Little" by Lawrence and Emily Tullis Little, 1972, p. 2. DAR Library.) Note that these authors only show Nancy Dark as a wife of Jonathan. • See also. http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=tomtullis&id=I0401 |
