John GIBSON

Noted events in his life were:
• Biography. John and Nancy moved in 1803 to the southern part of Richmond County on lands adjoining Green Pond extending to where the town of Gibson is now located. This 200 acres was deeded to him by his father, Thomas Gibson 14 June 1802. Legend says they once owned 1200 acres of land and were the parents of 21 children.
