• Note, 1746, Spotsylvania County, VA. George Nix in Spotsylvania County VA in 1746. In 1750 George Nix and wife Elizabeth of Orange Co. VA sold Spotsylvania Co. land left to him by his father George. A George Nix of St. George Parish Va. had a will probated 1746, mentioning wife Susanna and sons George and Joseph. A 1758 Bedford Co. will of William Nix mentions Edward, Joseph and Mildred Nix.

• Land: possible match, 1777, Prince Edward County, VA. Notes for THOMAS R.(OR W) ARNOLD, SR.:
1777 purchased 108 acres on both sides of Sawney's Creek while living in Cumberland County from George Nix
in Prince Edward County. Deed mentions George Nix purchasing property originally from Elkanah Jennings.
