Pursuant to the last will and testament of Thomas Burbridge, Decd., etc., Thomas Burbridge, Benjamin Robinson and Mildred, his wife; Henry Elley. and Sarah, his wife; Tavener Branham and Elizabeth, his wife; Robt. Smith and Frances, his wife; Linsfield Burbridge and Nancy, his wife; Wm. Bullett and Mary, his wife, and George Burbridge and Mary, his wife, to James Lewis of Spots. Co. £230. 200 a. whereon sd. Thos. Burbridge lived, adj. lands of James Lewis, Alexander Spotswood and others, etc., purchased of Wm. Fitzhugh, Esq., as by Ind. dated April 10, 1770, in Spots. Co., etc., etc. Witnesses, Richd. Jones, Frans. Simpson, Mathew Bridges, Richd. Branham-March 6, 1792. Elizabeth married Taverner BRANHAM, son of John BRANHAM and Rachel WEBB, ca. 1777 in Spotsylvania County, VA. (Taverner BRANHAM was born about 1739 in Spotsylvania County, VA and died in 1818 in Franklin County, KY.) |
