GIBSON, Chester 67, of Springfield died Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was born May 5, 1940 in Wayland, Kentucky the son of Dave and Julie (Jacobs) Gibson. Chester retired from Bauer Brothers with twenty-two years service and was a member of Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to church. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Beatrice L. (Byrd) Gibson; nine children Nancy, Sandy, Jack, Mike, Sheri, Billy, Angie, Amy and Chad; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Patty; two brothers and four sisters [these might be the Craft siblings]. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM. in Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Stokes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial in South Vienna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson family in care of Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church, 1175 Upper Valley Pike, Springfield, Ohio 45504.
