Funeral services were held Thursday, November 4, for Margie Collins, 73, of Wayland, who died Monday, November 1, 1999, at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington. Mrs. Collins was born March 28, 1926, at Raven, to the late Otis and Bell Jones Gibson. She was a member of Caney Fork Regular Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Raymond Collins; one son, Phillip Ray Collins of Hager Hill; one daughter, Copa Lee Hansford of Wayland; three brothers, Berman Gibson of Bedford, Warren Gibson of Louisville and Denzil Gibson of Sturgis; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Officiating at services at Hall Funeral Home Chapel of Martin were Regular Baptist ministers. Burial was in Collins Cemetery at Wayland.
