Because her parents died when she was two years old, Florence and her brother, Montogmery, were taken to Evansville, Arkansas [Vineyard Township, Washington County, AR], to be raised by their aunt and uncle. That couple died a few years laters, and Florence moved into the historic White McClellan mainsion at Cane Hill, Arkansas, with family friends. |
