Lemuel PETERS

  Noted events in his life were:

• Migration: from New England, After 1806, Clarksville, TN.

• Migration: from Clarksville, TN, 1820 or 1821, Lawrence County, TN. near Leighton

• Migration, Abt 1834, Bowie County, TX. He sold out his possessions there in 1836, and on his way to visit New England, died 1837, at the house of Dr. Gideon Williams, on Town creek and was buried by the side of his deceased wife.

• Cemetery: Leigh Graveyard, 1837, AL.

Lemuel married Sarah MINOTT in 1808. (Sarah MINOTT was born in 1770 in Dummerston, VT and died in 1834 in AL.)
