OBITUARY FOR MRS. ESTHER HASLERUD
Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Haslerud of Peterson were held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Peterson, with the Rev. LaVern Johnson officiating. Burial was made in the West Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
The former Esther Larson, she was born at Nydalen, Norway, on October 2nd, 1894, and came to the Peterson area when she was only 12 years old. She married Albert Haslerud in April 1911. He died in 1962. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and its women's organizations.
She is survived by six sons and two daughters. They are: Walter of Centralia, Wash.; Daniel of South St. Paul, Minn.; Francis of Rushford; Glenn of Duluth, Minn.; Milton of St. Louis Park, Minn.; Paul of Philadelphia, Pa; Mrs. A. J. (Ethel) Cark of Minneapolis; and Mrs. Adeline Ungerman, of Norfolk, Va. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren , and a twin sister, Mrs. Ben (Dagney) Halvorson of Rugby, North Dakota. One brother died.
The pall bearers at the funeral services were Clifford Olson, Elbert Agrimson, Craig Clark, Emil Falder, David Gorder and Bennett Gorder.
Esther married Albert G. HASLERUD, son of George Peter HASLERUD and Julia Maria Johansdatter WETHE, in Feb 1911 in Fillmore County, MN. (Albert G. HASLERUD was born on 1 May 1884 in Peterson, Fillmore County, MN and died on 18 Jan 1962 in La Crosse County, WI 4.)

• Marriage Notice: from THE HERALD (Peterson), 1911, Fillmore County, MN. Last Saturday evening at 8 o'clock occurred the marriage of Albert Haslerud of this place and Miss Esther Larson of Rushford. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents, Rev. Geo. Stanley performing the ceremony. While the bride is a stranger to the people of Peterson, we learn that she is it general favorite with her acquaintances. The groom is too well known to our readers to need an introduction, having been born and raised in this village, and is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Haslerud. They will. reside in Peterson. THE HERALD joins with their many friends in wishing them a long and happy life.
