Forrest Paulson Services Tuesday
Rushford, Minn. - (Special) - Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Forrest Palmer Paulson, 27, who died Saturday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Paulson, Rushford. He had been ill since 1942. Services will be conducted at the home of his parents at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. N. L. Otterstad and at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran church at Peterson by the Rev. Philip Hiller, assisted by Mr. Otherstad. Burial will bin in the church cemetery.
Forrest Paulson was born January 25, 1917, on the Paulson farm at Choice. He came to Rushford with the family as a boy and was graduated from Rushford High school in 1936. He married Sylvia Olness of Peterson June 15, 1940, at Peterson. The farmed at North Prairie, west of Rushford, until the fall of 1942, when he was forced by ill health to retire. He has been ill at the home of his parents since last July.
He is survived by his wife and parents; two brothers, Glen, Whalan and Allen, Austin; three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Mindrum (Viola) , Rushford; Mrs. Sydney Johnson (Phyllis), Peterson, and Mrs. Alfred Hauser (Hildegarde), Brownsville.
Forrest married Sylvia Burnett OLNESS, daughter of Albert N. OLNESS and Alice Amanda BYE, on 15 Jun 1940 in Peterson, Fillmore County, MN. (Sylvia Burnett OLNESS was born on 11 Apr 1917 in Fillmore County, MN 3 and died on 20 Mar 2003 in Winona County, MN.)
