Memorial service for veterinarian Dr. Robert Eagan, 54, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel. A potluck reception will follow in the Yates Chapel Gathering Center.
Dr. Eagan, who was born in St. Louis, died Wednesday.
He grew up in Deerfield, Ill., and graduated from high school there.
He graduated from the University of Illinois with a doctorate in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Eagan moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1976 and established the Kootenai Animal Clinic, later changing the name to AAA Animal Clinic.
In 1985 he married Dorothy Dahlgren.
He was member of the Tubbs Hill committee for more than 10 years and had served as treasurer and president. He enjoyed fishing, racquetball and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ivan at home; his mother, Frances Eagan of Illinois; and a brother, Jim Eagan of Wisconsin.
