LANESBORO, Minn. (Special) --
Alfred C. Thompson, 79, died Sunday evening at Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, where he had been a patient since having a stroke Nov. 2.

He was born July 4, 1886, in Pilot Mound Township to Charles and Christina Thompson.

He married Emma Sveen of Whalan in 1910. She died in 1929. Later he married Mrs. Emma Hasleiet Hareldson of Peterson area. The farmed in Arendahl Twonship until moving to Lanesboro in 1937, where he did carpenter work. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Surviveros are: His wife; two sons, Duane, Lanesboror, and Arnold, Houston; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three borhters, Corday and Lars, Lanesboro, and Bennie, Mohtomedi, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Truman (Olga) Austin, Lanesboro.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Rev. Leon Holtan officiating.

Friends may call at Johnson Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and evening and at the church Wednesday after 1 p.m.

Henry married Emma SVEEN, daughter of Hans Olsen THYRI and Ingeborg SVEEN, on 8 Dec 1910 in Fillmore County, MN. (Emma SVEEN was born on 19 Sep 1889 in Arendahl, Fillmore County, MN ² and died in 1929.)

Henry next married Emma HASLEIET, daughter of Charley T. HASLEIET and Maria B. RAMSEY, betw 1930 and 1935. (Emma HASLEIET was born about 1908 in MN and died after 1965.)
