The beauty of simplicity marked the marriage ceremony which united Miss Agnes Gunderson, daughter of Mrs. S. Gunderson of La Crosse and Norman Olness, son of Mrs. Julia Olness of Rushford. Rev. E. O. Vik officiated at the single rung service, which was performed in the presence of immediate relatives and friends, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at La Crosse at four o'clock Saturday afternoon, August 31.

To the strains of the Lohengrin's Wedding march, played by Mrs. Ed Syverson, Miss Gunderson, dressed in white, and carrying an arm bouquet of roses and pon pons, accompanied by her bridesmaid, Miss Mildred Welsh, who was dressed in green and carried a yellow gladioli, were met at the alter by the groom, Norman Olness and best man Conrad Olness, his brother.

Following the ceremony the bridal party and guests partook of a wedding dinner which was served at the home of the bride's mother at 1603 Liberty Street, La Crosse. The young couple then left for a short wedding trip to Chicago.

Mrs. Olness is a secretary at the Sisson-Silstad-Haugen wholesale company at La Crosse, while Mr. Olness in partnership with his brother, owns and operates the Olness Transfer.

The Record is joined by the many friends of the young couple in extending congratulations and best wishes for future success and happiness.
