They came to America in 1845, going directly to Rock County, Wisconsin where they lived for almost 14 years, at the end of time they moved to Fillmore county, Minnesota, spending their last days at LaCrosse, where Mr. Laugen suddenly dropped dead in February 1878, at which time he was a mail agent.
