• Obituary, 1961, Kandiyohi County, MN. Mrs. Carrie Jordahl
Final rights for Mrs. Carrie Jordahl, 81, of 320 Willmar Avenue, were held on Thursday, May 4, 1961 at the Calvary Lutheran church with the Rev. A. H. Sevig officiating. Mrs. Jordahl died Monday, May 1, at the Rice Memorial hospital in Willmar.
Special music was furnished by Leonard Nelson with Mrs. H. P. Hansen as the organist.
Pallbearers were Richard Jordahl , J. Robert Davidson, Brent Jordahl, Orlin Nelson, Wayne Jordahl, and Larry Totzke, all grandsons.
Interment was in the Calvary Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordahl was born in Norway in 1879 and came to the United States at the age of three years.
In 1899 she was united in marriage in Fillmore County to Anfin Jordahl who survives. To this union seven children were born, namely: Bernhard and Selvin of Minneapolis, Clifford of Willmar, Theodore of St. Paul, Mrs. Bert Nelson of Minneapolis, Mrs. John Davidson of Duluth and Mrs. Don Totzke of Fairmont. There are also 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Other survivors include a brother, Alfred Bakken of Rochester, and three sisters: Mrs. Hannah Twedt of Farmington, Mrs. Anna Knutson of Oak Park, Illinois, and Mrs. Marie Markegard of Rushford.

Carrie married Anfin Nilsson JORDAHL, son of Nils Bjørnson TEIGEN and Synneva Tomasdatter JORDAL, on 29 Mar 1902 in Winona County, MN.1 (Anfin Nilsson JORDAHL was born on 6 Jan 1877 in Balestrand, Sogn Og Fjordane, Norway 5, baptized on 28 Jan 1877 in Fjærland, Balestrand, Sogn Og Fjordane, Norway 6 and died on 5 Dec 1972 in Kandiyohi County, MN 7.)
