Isabel Virginia Hellerud, 85, Ada, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, in Mesa, Ariz.

Isabel Rockstad was born Aug. 20, 1916, near Ada, where she grew up and attended school. On Dec. 31, 1937, she married Lester Hellerud. They farmed near Ada. In 1968, they moved into Ada. They spent winters in Arizona.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Linda), Mark, both Ada; a daughter, Joan (David) Kroshus, Sauk Centre, Minn.; four sisters, Esther Hellerud, Halstad, Minn., Helen (Harold) Million, Roodhouse, Ill., Dorothy Bartz, Harriet (Lawrence) Merkins, both Ada; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Monday from 4-7, with a prayer service at 7, in Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada and one hour before the funeral in the church.

Funeral: Tuesday at 11 in Grace Lutheran Church, Ada.

Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery.

Isabel married Lester Roland HELLERUD, son of Charles HELLERUD and Anne Sofie Jonsdatter AARSTAD, on 31 Dec 1938 in Roberts County, South Dakota, USA.¹ (Lester Roland HELLERUD was born on 21 Sep 1917 in Hegne, Norman County, Minnesota, USA ⁴ and died on 8 Sep 1993 in Cass County, North Dakota, USA ^{5 6}.)
