JACKIE FRANKLIN DANKEL, 55, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, formerly of Denver, died Nov. 23. Services were Nov. 27. Mr. Dankel was born in Carroll, Iowa, on Feb. 1, 1946. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart. He worked for the Postal Service for 32 years. Survivors include sons Scott of Aurora, Chad and Chris, both of Iowa, Justin of California; daughter Amy of Denver; sisters Deanna Lane and Laura Newbauer, both of Iowa; brother Delmar of Iowa; 12 grandchildren.
