PAXTON - The funeral of Martha Meyer, 77, of Paxton will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Knapp-Miller Funeral Home, Paxton. The Rev. Emil Blobaum will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He died at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 6, 1999) at Heartland Healthcare Center, Paxton.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Paxton.
Mrs. Meyer was born July 21, 1920, at Elliott, a daughter of Martin and Mabel Ryerson Apland. She married Donald T. Meyer Jan. 14, 1961, at Elliott. He survives.
Other survivors include one stepdaughter, Donna Nickelson, Salt Lake City, Utah; two stepsons, Gary Meyer, Sandy, Calif., and Phillip Meyer of Wisconsin; one sister, Helen Hunt, Rockford; one brother, Eugene Apland, Gibson City; and seven stepgrandchildren.
Her parents and one brother, Ronald Apland, and one step-daughter preceded her in death.
