Walton L. Elliott, 76, of Somonauk, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at home.
Born April 29, 1934, in Geneva, the son of Paul and Alta (Hampson) Elliott, he married Lois M. Clausen on Oct. 20, 1956, in Sandwich. He was a Mason belonging to Blackberry Lodge 359 in Elburn.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, of Somonauk; daughter, Rebecca (Scott) Thorp of Somonauk; son, John Elliott of Milwaukee, Wis.; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Elliott, Katherine Elliott, Erika Elliott, Alyssa Thorp and Jacquelyn Thorp; and sister, Janice Nelson of DeKalb.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home, 13160 Route 34 West, Somonauk, with the Rev. Gordon Page officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
