Noted events in his life were: • Residence: The Paulson Place, Abt 1880, Preble Township, Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA. The house and barn on the road to the Norgaard Farm on the hill has been referred to as "The Paulson Place" Peter and his wife were farmers but the family eventually left and the farm was sold and rented out. The house burned down in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Then the barn blew down, likely in the 1960s when Clifford Larson, who was living on the Norgaard Farm, built a pole shed in that area. Peter married Jensine Marianna NORDGAARD, daughter of Iver Olsen NORDGÅRD and Martha Staalsdatter NORDGÅRD, on 9 Dec 1880 in Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA. (Jensine Marianna NORDGAARD was born on 15 Apr 1858 in Nordgaard, Stod, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway and died on 5 Jun 1934 in Rushford, Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA.)
