• Notes: RBL Notes. They came from Norway to Cresco, IA in 1900/02? where they lived for two years. Then they moved to Houston Co. in the area of Black Hammer where they lived for four years. Next they lived in Preble Twp. and in 1911 bought this farm. In their later years, Peter and Anna lived on P1-2. In Norway Peter was a stevedore for the Nordenfjeldske Steamship Line. At Choice Peter farmed and was also a stone mason. He did the stone work for the Nordgaard and Wicks houses and for the Ryan barn.
