Eva Bassitt

Funeral for Eva Ruth Bassitt will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Faith Baptist Church, followed by private interment in Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Bassitt, who died Sunday in a Portland-area care center, was 83. She was born in Carpio, N.D., and moved to Portland 11 years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Iris Rogers, Portland; three sons, Dale, Brookstown, Minn., Harvey, Jamestown, N.D., and Warren, Portland; three sisters, Myrtle Larson, Minot, N.D., Sybil Malone, Spokane, and Maybe Kielhack, Tacoma; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


Eva married Herbert C. BASSITT between 1920 and 1930. (Herbert C. BASSITT was born on 12 Apr 1891 in Minnesota, USA and died on 24 Feb 1969 in Clay County, Minnesota, USA 1.)
