Mrs. Frank Speight, 81, dies Tuesday; funeral Fri.

Mrs. Frank (Florence M.) Speight, 81, Maple Terrace died Tuesday (Jan. 14) at Waseca Area Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Minneapolis, July 6, 1893, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Mark M. and Hannah (Larson) Davenport. She attended school in Minneapolis. Nov. 6, 1912, she married Frank J. Speight, at Porter, Minn. After marriage she and her husband lived at Porter for a number of years. They came to Waseca county in 1927 where they have continued to live since that time. Mrs. Speight was employed at various restaurants in Waseca. She owned and operated the Maid -Rite franchise in Waseca for a number of years.

She is survived bye the following children: Grant, Yakima, Wash.; John, Santa Ana, Calif.; David, Norwood, Minn.; Charles, Waseca; Mrs. Robert (Vivian) Anderson, Minneapolis; Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) Howard, Waseca; Mrs. Garret (Avis) De Mott, Minneapolis; Mrs. Lawrence (Jeanne) Brockmiller, Waseca; Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Hill, Moses Lake, Wash.; Mrs. Larry (Wanda) Brackenbush, Richland, Wash.; 35 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church. Rev. Clayton Oberg will officiate and burial will be in Woodville Cemetery.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Thursday until noon Friday at the Pfaff-Kinder Home for Funerals and at the church before services.

She was preceded in death by her husband Aug. 7, 1964 and a daughter, Goldie.
