Jeanne Frye, who retired from Crown Zellerbach Corp. of Port Townsend and Antioch in 1979 after 30 years, died Saturday at Martha & Mary Nursing Home in Poulsbo, Wash. She was 74.
The native of Ward County, N.D., lived in Antioch from 1956 to 1980 before moving to Port Townsend. She worked mainly in production planning. She was active in the Port Townsend Ladies of Elks.
She is survived by her husband, George; son, David L. Meacham of Port Townsend; daughter, Cheryl Miller of Port Townsend; sister, Wilma Wright of Port Townsend; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her first husband, William Leonard Meacham, died in 1980.
Services: Graveside at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Chimacum, Wash. Arrangements by Kosec Funeral Home & Crematory in Port Townsend.
