• Obituary: La Crosse Tribune (WI), 1999, Wisconsin, USA. MABEL, Minn. -- Jean Twilla Baarsgard Eiken, 67, of Mabel, died Monday, June 14, 1999, in Cloverdale, Calif.

She is survived by her hus band, Wallace of Cloverdale; daughters, Valerie Ricks of Healdsburg, Calif., and Constance Ludden of Portland, Ore.; sisters, Vivian Reinsvold of St. Charles, Minn., and Diane McIntosh of Spring Grove, Minn.; and brother, Dale Baarsgard of Mabel.

Memorial services will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, La Crosse, Wis., on Saturday, July 31 at 11 a.m., and at Highland Prairie Lutheran Church, Peterson, Minn., on Sunday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m.

Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Twilla married Wallace Henry EIKEN, son of Henry Theodor EIKEN and Clarinda Marie JENSEN, on 8 Jul 1948 in Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA.¹ (Wallace Henry EIKEN was born on 22 Dec 1922 in Yucatan Township, Houston County, Minnesota, USA and died on 2 Mar 2006 in Massachusetts, USA.)
