• Obituary, 1975. Obituary for Orville Strande

Orville A. Strande, 65, St. Charles, died Friday evening, Jan. 3, 1975 of an apparent heart attack while en route to St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

He was born October 6, 1909 in Fillmore County to Mr. and Mrs. Ole L. Strande and lived his entire life in the area. He was area sales manager for the Triple F Feeds.

He married the former Judith Olness of Rushford, Aug. 25, 1945 and was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, St. Charles and it's couples' club.

He is survived by his wife, two brothers, Leonard and Casper, Utica; and a sister, Mrs. Eldora Block, Rochester.

Funeral services were hold Wed., Jan. 8, 1975 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, the Rev. Donald West Officiating with burial in Hillside Cemetery, St. Charles.

Orville married Judith Alida OLNESS, daughter of Andrew Olae OLNESS and Julia Knudsen BAKKEN, on 25 Aug 1945 in Winona County, MN.¹ (Judith Alida OLNESS was born on 29 Sep 1909 in Fillmore County, MN ⁴ and died on 5 Oct 1988 in Rushford, Fillmore County, MN ⁵.) The cause of her death was Myocardial infraction.
