• Obituary, 2007. Hazelle E. Totzke
FAIRMONT ? Services for Hazelle E. Totzke, 91, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont. Mrs. Totzke died Tuesday afternoon, July 24, 2007, at the Fairmont Medical Center. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. There will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Hazelle Evelyn Jordahl was born December 11, 1915, in Willmar, Minn., the daughter of Anfin and Carrie (Bakken) Jordahl. She attended school in Willmar and was united in marriage to Donald L. Totzke on July 17, 1938, in Willmar. They moved to Fairmont where she and her husband owned and operated Fairmont Appliance and T.V. Her husband died in December of 1987. Hazelle was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont where she was active in St. Cecelia Circle. She was also a volunteer at the Fairmont Community Hospital and was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Totzke and his wife, Pat, of Fairmont, Minn., Tom Totzke and his wife, Kathy, of Fairmont, Minn., and Donald D. Totzke and his wife, Betty, of Odessa, Texas; daughter-in-law, Josie Boots of Fairmont, Minn.; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Hazelle was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Totzke; one grandson, Ian Totzke; five brothers and two sisters.
