  Noted events in his life were:

• Biography. This Garrett Gibson and his wife, Prudence Summers, settled in North Carolina, moved to Maryland, and then to KY. Their eleven children then became separated as a family.
According to our best information, five sons of Garrett and Prudence came to Indiana and settled in Perry and Monroe Townships, Delaware County in about 1826-1827.
