Andras G. Malan, arrived in Columbia county, Wisconsin, in 1848. In 1854, he was united in marriage with Miss Bertha E. Boyum, sister of Rev. A. E. Boyum. Came to Arendahl in 1860, and procured 120 acres of land in sections four and nine. Has been a successful farmer and owns several hundred acres.
