Ole S. Mundahl was born to Sjur and Margaretha Mundahl on March 6, 1883 at Fairfax, Minnesota where he was also baptized and confirmed. He passed away suddenly on Friday morning, January 14, 1955 afeer failing health the past four years. At the time of his death he was 71 years, 10 months and 8 days of age.
For the past 36 years he has lived in the Peterson Community where he was engaged in trucking. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran church and was always regular in attandance at worship services. He had just now completed his second term in the office as Deacon of the church.
In November of 1904 he was married to the former Christina Hill who died in June 1910. To this first union three children weree born; Mabel, Signe and Oscar. Mr. Mundahl was married again on March 11, 1919 to julia Paquette and to this union three children were born, Evelyn, Roger and Janell.
He leaves to mourn his passing his dear wife, Julia and six children; Mabel of Peteson, Signe, Mrs. Alfred Benston of Peterson; Oscar of Rochester; Evelyn of Zumbrota, Roger of St. John, North Dakota; and janell, Mrs. Raymond Congdon of Alden, MN
A brother Andrew of St. Paul, Mn and three sisters, Bertina, Mrs. Bert Olson of Minot, ND, Selkms, Mrs August Schroeder of Fairfax, Mn and Carrie, Mrs Adolph Frederickson, of Hector Mn and 5 grandchildren also survive hism.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lars and Christ, and one sister, Mary, Mrs. Carl Strom.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 18th 1:30 at the home and 2:00p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Pastor I. Z. Hyland officiating. A mised chorus sang Old Rugged Cross and a duet of Mrs. N.A. Skarstad and Mrs. J. P. Quickstad sang it There Pallbearers were J. Orin Agrimson, Carl Johnson, Amos Gullickson, John olness, Oliver Haslerud and Byron Tebay.
Relatives and friends were in attendance from St. John ND. Zumbrota, Austin, Mpls, St. Paul, Chatfield, Fountain, Rushford, Lanesboro, Rochester, Alden, St. Charles, and Superior Wisc.

(Julia PAQUETTE was born on 16 Jan 1896 in Fillmore County, MN, baptized on 7 Feb 1896 in Arendahl and died in Jan 1957 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.) The cause of her death was Leukemia.

Married at the bride's home, Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Haslerud, Tuesday evening, March 11th, Miss Julia Haslerud to Mr. Ole Mundahl. Rev. Ljostveit tying the nuptial knot. Miss Ella Ensberg attended the bride, while Georgie Haslerud was the best man. The bridal couple left on the evening train for Fairfax, Minn., the former home of the groom.
They have rented rooms over the Moen Art Gallery where they will go to housekeeping on their return. The Herald extends heartiest congratulations.
