Timothy Scott Connelly, age 51 of Sun Prairie, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 11, 2011 at his camper on the Wisconsin River. He was born in Madison on April 18, 1960 to James J. and Norma R. (Abramson) Connelly. He was employed in construction until he started working for UW Madison, where he has been employed for over 20 years. On November 11, 2000 he married Kristi Iverson. Together they raised his nephew, Ryan, whom they considered their own.
He is survived by his wife Kristi; son, Ryan Connelly (Rachel); mother, Norma Busser (Charles McIntyre); brothers, James Connelly (Donna), and David Connelly; nephews and niece: Joe and Josh Connelly, Joseph, Andrew, and Seonah Iverson; mother and father-in-law, Ron and Sandra Iverson; brother-in-law, Charles Iverson; many friends and relatives; and his constant companion Jasper.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, James Connelly; step-father, LaVerne Busser; brother, Joseph Connelly; and grandparents, Ruby and Lloyd Abramson.
Tim was a loving, supportive son, husband, father, uncle, brother, son-in-law, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Drive, Sun Prairie with Rev. Dr. David J. Berggren officiating. Family will greet friends on Thursday, June 16th from 4-7 pm at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie and also on Friday at church from 1 pm until the time of service.
