Noted events in his life were: • Military Service: 306th Infantry, 1918. He entered the military service on 28 May 1918. Edward was a private assigned to the 306th Infantry. He arrived overseas in July 1918 and was in action for two months until severely wounded in the Battle of the Marne on 3 Oct. 1918.
