Johan Gundersen, som var snekker, overtok dette bruket ved delinga av gården. Her bodde også mor hans i noen år. Johan kjøpte bruket av henne for 900 spd. i 1866. (Skj. 30.4. 1866.) Våren 1869 solgte han det igjen til Chritian Ingebretsen på Øst-Vete for 750 spd. (Skj. 4.3.1869.) I april samme året tok han med familien og reiste til Winona i Minnesota, dit mora og svogeren på Glosli fulgte etter to år seinere.
